Washington High School Basketball - Capital bested by North Thurston
January 27, 2025: Lacey, WA 98516 North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), 52-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Thurston advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Lakes (Lakewood, WA) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 6-12. Lakes won 22-4 in their recent non-league match against Timberline (Lacey, WA)
The Cougars now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Ridge for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. Capital will face a Hawks squad coming off a 44-30 non-league win over Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-6.
