January 27, 2025: Wood River Junction, RI 02894 The Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) basketball crushed the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), 60-30 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Westerly will play a Kilties team coming off a 31-29 non-league win over Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Chariho falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Rogers (Newport, RI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Rogers lost 77-34 in their recent non-league bout against East Providence (East Providence, RI)
