California High School Soccer - Animo Venice toppled by Port of Los Angeles
January 27, 2025: San Pedro, CA 90731 Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Port of Los Angeles advances its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Fremont (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Pathfinders in a Coliseum test on Wednesday, January 29. The Pathfinders come into the test with a record of 4-1. Fremont 0-0 in their recent league test against Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA)
The Pirates now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host WISH Academy for a Ocean test on Tuesday, January 28. Animo Venice will clash with a Owls team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Burton (Los Angeles, CA). The Owls record now stands at 3-5.
