Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Desert Vista advances its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a 6A Central test on Monday, February 3. The Aztecs come into the test with a record of 6-7.

The Pioneers now have a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Connor for a 6A Desert Valley test on Thursday, January 30. Pinnacle will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 7-9.
