New Hampshire High School Basketball - Bishop Guertin holds off Winnacunnet
January 28, 2022: Hampton, NH 03842 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Guertin Cardinals (Nashua, NH) and the host Winnacunnet Warriors (Hampton, NH), saw Bishop Guertin's basketball squad hold off Winnacunnet by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Bishop Guertin improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH) to confront the Clippers in a Division I challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Clippers come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Portsmouth won 73-62 in their recent league challenge against Manchester Central (Manchester, NH)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Windham Jaguars (Windham, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Monday, January 31. Winnacunnet will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
