The Southwest Valley basketball team (Corning, IA), was overwhelmed 72-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA)

The Cardinals now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a Pride of Iowa battle on Tuesday, February 1. Central Decatur will confront a Falcons team coming off a 84-64 league loss to Lenox (Lenox, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-11.
