Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch overwhelms Great Bridge

January 28, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23321

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), saw Western Branch's basketball squad wallop Great Bridge by a tally of 84-53.

With the victory, Western Branch improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Great Bridge will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
