Oklahoma High School Basketball - Vinita crushes Hilldale
January 28, 2022: Vinita, OK 74301 Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK), 67-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Vinita upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Miami (Miami, OK) to play the Wardogs in a Verdigris Valley bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Wardogs come into the bout with a record of 2-6.
Next up, the Hornets play the Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) in a Verdigris Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Hilldale will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 56-52 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK).
