The Middletown Islanders basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Lincoln Lions to 40 in the Islanders league triumph on Friday.

The Islanders now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Providence for a Division 2 contest on Thursday, February 3. Middletown will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-60 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-10.
