In Friday's league outing, the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) basketball squad beat the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), by a margin of 62-47.

The Rebels (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots go into the Pocket outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Heritage Hills defeated Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN), 61-47, in a non-league outing.

The Chargers now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a Pocket outing on Saturday, January 29. Pike Central will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 70-39 league win over Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.
