The Sylmar Spartans topped the visiting Reseda Regents basketball team by a final score of 63-48 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 29. Sylmar will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Chancellors enter the game with a 10-13 record after their 75-63 league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA).

With the defeat, Reseda moves to 8-12 on the year. The Regents travel to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA) to face the Wolves in a Valley Mission game on Wednesday, February 2.
