Louisiana High School Basketball - Tara knocked off by St. Michael
January 28, 2022: Baton Rouge, LA 70879 The St. Michael Warriors basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Tara Trojans to 54 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plaquemine for a 4A District 7 contest on Tuesday, February 1. St. Michael will meet a Green Devils team coming off a 80-40 league win over Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA). The Green Devils record now stands at 9-9.
The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Episcopal ran past Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 64-42, in a league contest.
