New Jersey High School Basketball - Barnegat holds off Toms River South
January 28, 2022: Barnegat, NJ 08005 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) and the visiting Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ), saw Barnegat's basketball squad hold off Toms River South by a tally of 38-32.
With the victory, Barnegat improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bengals host Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ) to confront the Hawks in a Shore B - South challenge on Friday, February 4. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Indians confront the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a Shore A - South challenge, on Friday, February 4. Toms River South will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record.
