The Mount Vernon Bulldogs bounced the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs basketball squad by a count of 69-42 in Friday's league challenge.

With the victory, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to play the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, January 31. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Burlington-Edison won 56-37 in their recent league challenge against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA)
