January 28, 2022: Argyle, TX 76226 In Friday's non-league game, the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), by a final score of 8-1.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulls go into the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Bridgeport was overwhelmed by Springtown (Springtown, TX), 5-1, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Gainesville drops to 3-3 on the season. The Leopards host Decatur (Decatur, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Region 1 District 5 test on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-2. Decatur won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Graham (Graham, TX)
