Illinois High School Basketball - Andrew succumbs to Metea Valley

January 28, 2023: Aurora, IL 60502

The Metea Valley Mustangs topped the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts basketball team by a final score of 66-50 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Friday, February 3. Metea Valley will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 18-7 record after their 58-35 non-league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).

With the defeat, Andrew moves to 13-11 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to face the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban - Red game on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights enter the game with a record of 8-15. Lincoln-Way Central lost 52-44 in their recent non-league game against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
