Minnesota High School Basketball - Tartan holds off Apple Valley
January 28, 2023: Oakdale, MN 55128 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) and the visiting Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), saw Tartan's basketball squad hold off Apple Valley by a tally of 66-59.
With the victory, Tartan improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to confront the Zephyrs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Zephyrs come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Mahtomedi won 76-44 in their recent non-league challenge against North (North St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Apple Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Sabers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 79-71 non-league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN).
