Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) and the visiting Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), saw St. Patrick-St. Vincent's basketball squad hold off Benicia by a tally of 66-65.

With the victory, St. Patrick-St. Vincent improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to confront the Pride in a Tri-County - Rock challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. Salesian College Preparatory won 60-37 in their recent league challenge against Vallejo (Vallejo, CA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) in a Diablo - Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Benicia will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record.
