January 28, 2023: St. Joseph, MO 64506 The Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO) basketball knocked off the host Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO), 79-62 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Huskers go into the Missouri River Valley - East test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Lafayette County went down by Gallatin (Gallatin, MO), 80-59, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they host East Buchanan for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Bishop LeBlond will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to Lathrop (Lathrop, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
