Virginia High School Basketball - West Ranch topples Bishop O'Connell
January 28, 2023: Arlington, VA 22213 In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) basketball squad beat the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), by a count of 78-68.
The Wildcats (25-1) will now prepare for their outing against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies go into the Foothill outing with a 14-12 record. In their last outing, Golden Valley defeated Lancaster (Lancaster, CA), 54-36, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they host St. John's for a DCSAA AA outing on Tuesday, January 31. Bishop O'Connell will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 75-56 league win over The Heights (Potomac, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 18-2.
