Michigan High School Basketball - River Rouge tipped by East Lansing
January 28, 2023: River Rouge, MI 48218 The East Lansing Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and held the host River Rouge Panthers to 45 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Ledge for a Capital Area - Blue contest on Tuesday, January 31. East Lansing will meet a Comets team coming off a 79-52 league win over Everett (Lansing, MI). The Comets record now stands at 10-2.
The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against University Prep (Detroit, MI). The Panthers enter the Michigan Metro contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, University Prep nudged Hamady (Flint, MI), 61-60, in a non-league challenge.
