Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands nips Edison
January 28, 2023: Oberlin, OH 44074 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) and the visiting Edison Chargers (Milan, OH), saw Firelands's basketball squad hold off Edison by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Firelands improves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Midview (Grafton, OH) to play the Middies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Middies come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Midview lost 67-64 in their recent league challenge against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH)
Next up, the Chargers play the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Edison will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Fliers come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 89-72 league win over Perkins (Sandusky, OH).
