Ohio High School Basketball - Troy Christian crushes Emmanuel Christian Academy
January 28, 2023: Springfield, OH 45502 Troy Christian Eagles (Troy, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions (Springfield, OH), 60-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Troy Christian upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Northridge (Dayton, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a Three Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Northridge won 51-50 in their recent league bout against Bethel (Tipp City, OH)
Next up, the Lions play the Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH) in a Metro Buckeye bout, on Friday, February 3. Emmanuel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 61-42 non-league win over Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH).
