The Fairfax Christian Cardinals (Dulles, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), 63-57 in Saturday's league test.

The Cardinals (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Eagles go into the Freelance test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Evergreen Christian was tipped by Highland (Warrenton, VA), 95-37, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Christ Chapel Academy for a VISAA Division III contest on Thursday, February 2.
