Montana High School Basketball - Shepherd nips Forsyth
January 28, 2023: Shepherd, MT 59079 Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Forsyth Dogies (Forsyth, MT), 47-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Shepherd upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Huntley Project (Worden, MT) to play the Red Devils in a B District 4 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Huntley Project won 48-38 in their recent league bout against Roundup (Roundup, MT)
Next up, the Dogies play the Colstrip Colts (Colstrip, MT) in a B District 3 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 59-47 league loss to Lodge Grass (Lodge Grass, MT).
