Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central topped by Fort Morgan

The Fort Morgan Mustangs basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the host Weld Central Rebels to 66 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a 5A/4A Longs Peak contest on Tuesday, January 31. Fort Morgan will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 69-53 league loss to Severance (Severance, CO). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 8-7.

The Rebels (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Cougars come into the 4A Patriot contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Resurrection Christian prevailed over Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO), 57-47, in a non-league contest.
