Michigan High School Basketball - Rockford can't hold off Grand Blanc
January 28, 2023: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 The Grand Blanc Bobcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Rockford Rams to 50 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bobcats now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Saginaw Valley match on Tuesday, January 31. Grand Blanc will face a Wolves team coming off a 58-50 league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 6-6.
With the defeat, Rockford moves to 10-4 on the year. The Rams host Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI) to face the Buccaneers in a Ottawa-Kent - Red match on Friday, February 3. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 11-3. Grand Haven won 46-44 in their recent non-league match against Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI)
