The Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) basketball nipped the host Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH), 55-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Comets (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Elyria Catholic was tipped by Rocky River (Rocky River, OH), 64-53, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oberlin for a Lorain County 8 test on Friday, February 3.
