Washington High School Basketball - Tulalip Heritage nipped by LaConner
January 28, 2023: LaConner, WA 98257 The LaConner Braves held off the visiting Tulalip Heritage Hawks basketball team by a score of 58-54 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Braves now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon Christian for a 1B/2B Northwest battle on Tuesday, January 31. LaConner will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 63-15 non-league win over Darrington (Darrington, WA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 14-5.
The Hawks (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lummi (Bellingham, WA). The Blackhawks come into the 1B Northwest battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Lummi was nudged by Grace Academy (Marysville, WA), 56-55, in a league battle.
