The Marion Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Newton Eagles to 47 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCracken County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Marion will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-2.
