The Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) basketball knocked off the host Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), 76-58 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Maroons (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers go into the Little Illini test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Paris notched a victory over La Salette Academy (Georgetown, IL), 66-37, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northside Baptist Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Meridian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 52-25 non-league loss to Eagle Ridge Christian (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
