Ohio High School Basketball - Miami Trace overwhelms Waverly
January 28, 2023: Waverly, OH 45690 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) and the host Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH), saw Miami Trace's basketball squad wallop Waverly by a tally of 52-28.
With the victory, Miami Trace improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Waynesville (Waynesville, OH) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Tigers play the Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 78-51 league loss to Valley (Lucasville, OH).
