Washington High School Basketball - Winlock can't hold off Naselle
January 28, 2023: Winlock, WA 98596 The Naselle Comets basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Winlock Cardinals to 59 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Comets now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pe Ell for a 1B Columbia Valley contest on Tuesday, January 31. Naselle will battle a Trojans team coming off a 49-43 league loss to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-11.
The Cardinals (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Adna (Adna, WA). The Pirates enter the 2B Central contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Adna nudged Rainier (Rainier, WA), 62-39, in a league contest.
