Washington High School Basketball - Tahoma nips Skyline
January 28, 2023: Sammamish, WA 98075 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) and the host Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA), saw Tahoma's basketball squad hold off Skyline by a tally of 59-52.
With the victory, Tahoma improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Federal Way (Federal Way, WA) to play the Eagles in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound challenge on Monday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 18-1. Federal Way won 101-38 in their recent league challenge against Kentwood (Covington, WA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) in a 4A KingCo challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Skyline will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 87-39 league loss to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA).
