The Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA), 66-59 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Vanguards (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Kennett (Kennett Square, PA). The Blue Demons go into the Ches-Mont - American test with a 1-16 record. In their last test, Kennett was tipped by Oxford (Oxford, PA), 42-41, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pottsgrove for a Pioneer - Frontier test on Tuesday, January 31.
