South Dakota High School Basketball - West Central overwhelms Webster
January 28, 2023: Webster, SD 57274 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) and the host Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD), saw West Central's basketball squad wallop Webster by a count of 60-39.
With the victory, West Central upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to play the Mustangs in a A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Tri-Valley lost 65-48 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Madison, SD)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 66-35 non-league loss to Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD).
