California High School Basketball - Albany thwarts Saint Mary's
January 28, 2023: Albany, CA 94706 The Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA), 64-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Titans go into the test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Hercules went down by Hayward (Hayward, CA), 47-39, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Vallejo for a test on Tuesday, January 31. Saint Mary's will encounter a Red Hawks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-7.
