Georgia High School Basketball - Wesleyan fells Buford
January 28, 2023: Norcross, GA 30092 Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), 72-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wesleyan upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to clash with the Spartans in a AAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-19. West Hall lost 74-8 in their recent league bout against White County (Cleveland, GA)
Next up, the Wolves clash with the Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Buford will attempt to upgrade on its 19-2 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 52-51 league win over Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA).
