Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove trounces Clarke Central

January 28, 2023: McDonough, GA 30252

The Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 61-25 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wolverines (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAAA Region 2 test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, Dutchtown was trounced by Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA), 43-37, in a league test.

The Gladiators now own a 3-20 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a AAAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 31. Clarke Central will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 48-41 league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-8.
