Minnesota High School Basketball - Hill-Murray holds off Como Park
January 28, 2023: Maplewood, MN 55109 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) and the visiting Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), saw Hill-Murray's basketball squad hold off Como Park by a tally of 59-53.
With the victory, Hill-Murray improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to confront the Zephyrs in a AAA Section 4 challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Zephyrs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Como Park will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
