January 28, 2023: Tomball, TX 77375 The Concordia Lutheran Crusaders basketball team (Tomball, TX), was overwhelmed 51-13 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Second Baptist Eagles (Houston, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kelly Catholic for a TAPPS 5A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Second Baptist will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-44 league loss to Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-16.
The Crusaders (15-14) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Panthers come into the TAPPS 6A District 2 battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X was overwhelmed by St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX), 60-42, in a league battle.
