In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats basketball team scored a tight 44-40 triumph over the Desert Christian Eagles.

In their next game, the Sabercats meet the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) in a 3A South Central match, on Tuesday, January 31. San Tan Foothills will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 12-8 record after their 51-22 league win over Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).
