New Jersey High School Basketball - Immaculate Conception trounces Payne Tech
January 28, 2023: Montclair, NJ 07042 The Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ), 77-33 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Argonauts go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Rutgers Prep walloped Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ), 80-19, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to East Side for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Payne Tech will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 40-24 non-league loss to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-6.
