Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pocono Mountain West topples Nazareth Area
January 28, 2023: Pocono Summit, PA 18346 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA), by a count of 44-26.
The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Cavaliers go into the Eastern Pennsylvania - Mountain outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, East Stroudsburg South was topped by Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA), 49-18, in a league outing.
The Blue Eagles now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Louis E. Dieruff for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Nazareth Area will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 34-23 non-league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-9.
