Tennessee High School Basketball - Providence Academy fells Asheville School (Independent)
January 28, 2023: Johnson City, TN 37615 Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC), 58-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Providence Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.
Next up, the Blues play the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Asheville School (Independent) will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).
