The Lincoln Lions trounced the host Mt. Hope Huskies ice hockey squad by a count of 8-2 in Sunday's league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln moves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Rogers (Newport, RI) to face the Vikings in a Division 2 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

The Huskies now sport a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Warwick for a Division 2 bout on Sunday, February 4.
