Delaware High School Basketball - Appoquinimink holds off Newark Charter School
January 28, 2025: Newark, DE 19711 The Appoquinimink Jaguars basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Newark Charter School Patriots to 69 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Christiana for a Blue Hen Flight - A game on Wednesday, January 29. Appoquinimink will confront a Vikings team coming off a 57-48 league win over ASPIRA Charter (Newark, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Newark Charter School falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Red Wolves in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Red Wolves go into the game with a record of 10-3. Conrad Science won 68-52 in their recent league game against MOT Charter (Middletown, DE)
