Iowa High School Basketball - Ar-We-Va victorious over West Monona
January 28, 2025: Onawa, IA 51040 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets basketball team scored a good 62-54 triumph over the West Monona Spartans.
The Rockets (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Woodbine topped Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA), 84-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) in a Western Valley - North contest, on Thursday, January 30. West Monona will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 63-58 league win over Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA).
