New York High School Basketball - Guilderland nips Ballston Spa
January 28, 2025: Guilderland Center, NY 12085 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY) and the visiting Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY), observed Guilderland's basketball team edge Ballston Spa by a margin of 48-41.
The Flying Dutchmen (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Blue Streaks come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Saratoga Springs was tipped by Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY), 54-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Scotties battle the Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 31. Ballston Spa will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 54-40 league win over Schenectady (Schenectady, NY).
