Michigan High School Basketball - Belding bests Hastings
January 28, 2025: Belding, MI 48809 The Belding Black Knights basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Hastings Saxons to 49 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Black Knights now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to NorthPointe Christian for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver game on Friday, January 31. Belding will play a Mustangs team coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Hastings falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Saxons host Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI) to play the Beavers in a Interstate Eight game on Friday, January 31. The Beavers go into the game with a record of 12-3. Harper Creek won 52-40 in their recent non-league game against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI)
